Book Review: Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor #3) by Jessica Townsend

Synopsis: Morrigan Crow and her friends have survived their first year as proud scholars of the elite Wundrous Society, helped bring down the nefarious Ghastly Market, and proven themselves loyal to Unit 919. Now Morrigan faces a new, exciting challenge: to master the mysterious Wretched Arts, and control the power that threatens to consume her.

But a strange and frightening illness has taken hold of Nevermoor, turning infected Wunimals into mindless, vicious Unnimals on the hunt. As victims of the Hollowpox multiply, panic spreads. And with the city she loves in a state of fear, Morrigan quickly realizes it's up to her to find a cure for the Hollowpox, even if it will put her - and everyone in Nevermoor - in more danger than she ever imagined.

I absolutely devoured the first two books in this series so it should come as a surprise to no one that I decimated the third. Again I loved how fun and easy it was to read this middle grade fantasy book while still being enthralled by it's magic and characters. Jessica Townsend has done a wonderful job of building a world that is vivid and envious. I wish I was in the Wundrous Society. When I read this series I can get caught up and believe it's real. I highly recommend this book, this series, to any fantasy lover, whatever your age. I don't want to spoil the book or series for anyone who hasn't read it yet so I won't go into detail about specific scenes that spoke to my heart, or that made my mouth drop open in what was surely a ridiculous gape, or that made me say "OMG" out loud. Of course I give this book 5 stars!

Thank you Hachette Australia for a copy of this book in return for my honest and independent review.
