Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend

(Nevermoor #2) “Wunder is gathering in Nevermoor...”

Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down. The 12 year old MC and her life in this amazing world is so brilliant. Best way to explain this is it’s similar to Harry Potter in that it has a Chosen One, is based in a magical hidden world, about an outsiders adventures in this world that was unknown to them. Unlike Harry Potter the right and wrong, good and evil is not as black and white. I like that there is a lot of grey area for the MC to explore, figure out. I have been so lucky to read a few amazing books recently. I discovered the first of this just before Christmas, and I devoured it. Now I’m impatiently waiting for Jessica Townsend to publish the next in the series! ★★★★★
